Rory McIlroy flies out for Mykonos stag do just a week before Ryder Cup begins

European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald will be trusting Rory McIlroy won’t be getting as well carried absent on the stag do before the Ryder Cup.

“I get back from Mykonos into London on the Wednesday evening and after that have four great days to induce myself prepared for Rome.”

Seven of Donald’s European stars wrapped up within the best 10 at the BMW PGA Championship, counting McIlroy. “It’s magnificent. We’re in a great spot,” McIlroy said. “We had a very great day in Rome on Monday, the team’s been forming up truly well for the final couple of months, everyone’s been in lovely great shape.”
