Aaron Rodgers  reportedly to attend the Jets’ ‘Sunday Night Football’ game against the Chiefs

Aaron Rodgers has mostly been with the New York Jets in Spirit since he tore his Achilles tendon, but that will change this weekend.

The four-time MVP, who is likely out for the season, attended the Jets’ team meeting at the team hotel on Saturday and will attend their “Sunday Night Football” game against  Kansas City Chiefs, according to The Athletic. . Zack Rosenblatt.

He may not be the most famous spectator at MetLife Stadium, as Taylor Swift, who is reportedly dating Chiefs star Travis Kelce, is also expected to attend the game.

Rodgers tore his Achilles four sets into the Jets’  Week 1 opener and had to undergo innovative surgery in September. 13. According to ESPN, he has spent the time since his surgery rehabbing near his home in the Los Angeles area, where his surgeon, Dr. Neal ElAttrache, also works. He reportedly told the team a week ago that he could return to play on Sunday, but needed a medical clearance to travel to New York. Obviously he understood.

Rodgers is said to be able to walk with crutches, but is not expected to sit out the Jets for safety reasons. He’ll watch the game from a separate box, but Jets coaches apparently still hope he’ll give  struggling  quarterback Zach Wilson a boost.

The Jets have been on a tear since recording an overtime win over the Buffalo Bills in the same game that Rodgers lost. They lost 30-10 to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, then lost to the New England Patriots 15-10 in Week 3.

The Chiefs appear to present an even tougher challenge. We’ll see how much Rodgers’ presence helps.
