Former Nike ambassador Jason Day has found a new home at Malbon Golf, adding weight to the rumours Tiger Woods could be the swoosh.
Jason Day appears to have added legitimacy to the claims there is tension between Nike and Tiger Woods.
With his professional debut in 1997, Woods has become a household name associated with the swoosh.
However, there were rumors that the 48-year-old was quitting the massive sports company over the Christmas break.
That came after NLU revealed that Nike was considering terminating their relationship with the 15-time major champion golfer and closing their entire golf division.
Of course, Woods was asked about this as he played the 2023 PNC Championship alongside his teenage son Charlie.
The big cat would only muster the same, perhaps grumpy five-word response to the reporter brave enough to pop the question.
“I’m still wearing their product,” he said firmly.
Along with Woods, the aforementioned Day has been one of Nike’s premium ambassadors.
Nike boasts other high-profile golfers such as Rory McIlroy and LPGA Tour star Nelly Korda.
But ahead of The Sentry at Kapalua, the Aussie has now confirmed he has cut ties with Nike after seven long years.
Day has now found his new home at Malbon Golf.

By the way, how big are those sleeves?
Day will be the company’s first PGA Tour athlete to receive sponsorship.
Golfweek reported that Nike was paying Day $10 million a year. According to reports, he signed a $100 million deal with the company in 2016.
