Christian Horner investigated as Red Bull chief accused of ‘inappropriate behaviour’.
Red Bull F1 team principal Christian Horner, 50, who is married to former Spice Girl Geri Horner, is the subject of an inappropriate behaviour claim made against him by a member of staff.
Red Bull has acknowledged that it is looking into a claim of misconduct from a coworker against Christian Horner.
Various European media outlets have widely reported that the parent company of Red Bull has enlisted the services of external investigators to conduct the inquiry. Denying the accusation, 50-year-old Horner, the team principal of Red Bull’s main Formula 1 team, maintains his innocence.
The parent company released a statement stating that they have initiated an independent investigation in response to specific allegations that were brought to their attention. They have enlisted the services of an external specialist barrister to conduct this ongoing process.
“The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”
Regarding the allegation made against him, Horner told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that he “completely denies” the claim. Mirror Sport has approached Red Bull Racing for comment.
Horner has been team principal of the F1 team since it was bought by the Red Bull parent company ahead of the 2005 season. He is married to former Spice Girl Geri Horner, having tied the knot in May 2015.
The investigation comes just weeks before Red Bull Racing’s latest F1 title defence gets under way. Max Verstappen and his team head into the 2024 campaign as overwhelming favourites to top both championships again by the end of the year.
After Viktor Hovland pulled out of the Phoenix Open, all golf fans are expressing the same opinion. We are yet to witness the capabilities of their RB20 car and how it stacks up against the competition developed by their rivals during the winter season. However, Jake Dennis, the Formula E champion, who has been testing the Red Bull car on the simulator, has cautioned others that the team from Milton Keynes has constructed yet another formidable machine.
According to his statement to the Mirror, he mentioned that the Red Bull team possesses a highly rapid racing car once more.
He anticipates that they will reclaim the championship, unless competitors such as Ferrari or Mercedes miraculously discover how to gain an additional second per lap overnight. He predicts that the Formula 1 season might turn out to be quite uneventful with Max likely exerting significant dominance.
