Creation of LIV” – Fans React On Recent Social Media Question Of Changing ‘One Moment In Golf History’

Golf has been ever-changing since 2022 when LIV Golf arrived. The sport welcomed a league that had unconventional rules and no qualification process. Following that, several debates took place and the circuit received backlash. While some remained loyal to the PGA Tour, a few defected to the big-money league.

A recent social media post questioned the fans to write their notions about changing ‘one moment in golf history’. As the question popped up, several fans wrote their thoughts and one wanted to erase LIV Golf from the golf memory. What did the golf community write? Let’s find out!

Fans showered their diversified views in an intriguing social media question.

The social media post originated from the NUCLR GOLF page.   When the question about changing a moment in golf history was posed, fans quickly began to share their different opinions.   

A supporter recommended eliminating LIV Golf and reversing the establishment of the circuit that caused chaos in the golfing community.   

Another sympathetic fan wished they could travel back in time to prevent Tiger Woods’ car accident in 2021.   

Another online citizen joined in to echo the sentiments expressed by the previous follower.   

“A person who loves golf and is a fan of Ernie Els hoped that the golfer would emerge victorious in the 2004 Masters tournament.”   

In the midst of sympathetic comments, a fan made a sly comment about Tiger Woods and expressed a desire that the greatest of all time had not become a part of the tour.   

A fan wished that Paul Azinger, the former NBC announcer, would never be selected for the position. 

One of the golf fans wished that the merger talks between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf had never taken place.

A Phil Mickelson fan wished that the golfer should have not hit a shot off the driver at the 2006 US Open.


Another golf enthusiast was encouraged to witness Arnold Palmer completing his Grand Slam by winning the 1968 PGA Championship.   

The fans’ response clearly indicates that they have many accumulated regrets from over the years.  

Therefore, when the question was posed on social media, they were able to express their emotions.
