LIV Golf Jeddah prize money, payout information: see how much a struggling Anthony Kim will earn on debut.
Anthony Kim might be struggling on his LIV Golf debut at Jeddah this week, but the three-time PGA Tour winner will still walk away with some pocket change in Saudi Arabia.
After two lacklustre rounds of 76, Kim finds himself on 12-over par and down in 53rd place out of 54 starters.
It’s been a horror week thus far.
The week has involved asking for a do-over on the first hole, hitting a fantastic shot, and even an unfortunate shank. Kim would have been in the lowest position, but Matt Wolff had to withdraw from the tournament after playing only a few holes on the second day.
The ex-American Ryder Cup player is currently trailing by nine shots behind the next leading player, Ian Poulter. Hence, unless a miraculous performance occurs in the final round, Kim is expected to finish in 53rd place at the end of the tournament.
The amount Kim was paid by LIV Golf earlier this week is not disclosed, but he has received a wildcard exemption to participate in all the upcoming tournaments on the circuit this season.
In-form Joaquin Niemann holds a two-shot lead heading into the final round on top of the leaderboard.
LIV Golf Jeddah carries the standard $25m purse, with $4m being awarded to the winner.
The top three teams will split $5m, with first place taking home $3m of that.
Through Las Vegas, Dustin Johnson leads the money list with $4.7m in on-course earnings, followed by Niemann with $4.1m.
Jon Rahm has picked up $1,775,000 in prize money since he bolted from the PGA Tour.
