WATCH: RYAN FOX LIGHTS UP THE PLAYERS WITH ACE (!) AT FAMED 17TH: “DO IT, BIG MAN!”

PGA Tour rookie Ryan Fox became the first golfer to make a hole-in-one at the 2024 Players Championship at the iconic 17th hole.

Over the years, there have been several exceptional golfers who have performed impressively on the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass.   

Fred Couples had a memorable moment at GolfMagic during the 1997 Players Championship when he excited the crowd.   

Shane Lowry created a memorable moment two years ago when he enthusiastically celebrated his hole-in-one.  

You undoubtedly have your favorite when it comes to one of the most impressive achievements in professional golf.    During the first round of the tournament this year, Ryan Fox from New Zealand achieved the milestone of making a hole-in-one.   

Fox achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first player in Players Championship history to score consecutive eagles.   

Similar to Lowry’s, his excellent shot with the iron club soared high above the pin before rolling back swiftly into the hole.    “There was also a nice mark on his Srixon golf ball.”   

Fox was confident in the success of his shot as soon as he did a twirl with his club.
