WATCH: Golf fans offer unanimous verdict over hilarious clip of TigerWoods and Charlie on Masters SundayTiger Woods’ teenage son Charlie

Woods made a surprise visit to Augusta National ahead of the final round of the 2024 Masters.

On Sunday, Tiger Woods’ son Charlie unexpectedly showed up at Augusta National.

48-year-old Woods shot a disappointing 10-over 82 on the third day of the tournament after stating that he believed he could make a strong comeback.

Just a day before, he achieved another milestone in his career by setting a new record for the most consecutive cuts made at the Masters tournament.

For the 24th consecutive Masters Tournament, Woods secured a spot in the weekend rounds, in front of Gary Player and Fred Couples. “After his most recent impressive accomplishment, Woods expressed his desire to gloat in front of Couples.”

But he went backwards on Saturday, recording his worse score in 99 career rounds all the while looking in extreme discomfort.

Many golf fans predicted that he would likely withdraw and get some rest before ramping up his preparations for next month’s PGA Championship.

Instead he told of how he was going to get some treatment and finish the 88th Masters strong.

The 15-time major champion arrived at the practice facilities on Sunday early alongside his 15-year-old son.

He played the fourth and final round with amateur Neal Shipley, who won the patrons’ hearts with an incredible performance at the first major of 2024.

Charlie held out an iron as his father striped some shots down the range.

At one point, he even turned instructor, prompting an almost unanimous reaction from X users.

Former Masters champion Trevor Immelman wrote: ‘Seeing Charlie Woods on the range giving his old man a lesson is so cool.”

Another added: ‘Youโ€™ve got to love that Charlie Woods is giving his Dad Tiger a lesson after his 82 yesterday at the Masters.’

This person wrote: ‘When Tiger does play his final round at the Masters one of these years, it would be cool if Charlie caddied for him.”

Woods has previously alluded to the fact his son may carry his bag at some point in the future.

At the 2024 Masters, he had Lance Bennett carry his clubs having previously parted ways with Joe LaCava.

Woods’ appearance at next month’s PGA Championship at Valhalla is not guaranteed.

He suggested late last year that he wanted to play at least one tournament per month in 2024 but so far hasn’t been able to.

In February, Woods had to pull out of the Genesis Invitational due to being ill and he also chose not to participate in a few PGA Tour events preceding the Masters.

When asked why he hasn’t been playing, Woods informed the reporters that he was not prepared to play. He stated that both his body and his game were not in a suitable condition for playing. “I believed that having a monthly meeting at Hero would be a good routine.” It hasn’t happened as planned.

However, we now have significant tournaments scheduled every month from now until July. Therefore, the hope is that monthly events will become more frequent.
