EXCLUSIVE YouTube legends Dude Perfect try to high-five EVERY F1 driver in hilarious new video… but can they manage it?

YouTube superstars Dude Perfect have dipped their toes into the glitzy world of Formula One for the first time, filming an action-packed video involving all 20 drivers at this year’s Australian Grand Prix.

The group, who first met as college roommates at Texas A&M 15 years ago and have since garnered a remarkable 60 million YouTube followers, teamed up with F1 in Melbourne for their first taste of America’s fastest growing sport.

In the episode, the social media sensations go head-to-head with Alpine drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, talk pancakes with Carlos Sainz – and try to high-five every driver on raceday as part of their popular ‘Betcha’ segment.

The popularity of F1 in America is increasing each year, with a significant number of new fans coming from the ‘Drive to Survive’ generation.

The collaboration with Dude Perfect is expected to further expand the fan base.

In the latest video, Cody Jones is assigned the challenging task of seeking out 20 high-fives from the most prominent names in the world of Formula 1.

This exclusive footage was initially shared with Mail Sport. Cody’s interaction with Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, and Daniel Ricciardo starts off smoothly, but things take a comical turn when he encounters Sergio Perez, who ignores him while heading to a meeting.

A few moments later, Mercedes added to the dilemma by involving Lewis Hamilton, much to Cody’s dismay. Cody expressed his admiration for Hamilton, referring to him as his idol, but Hamilton did not acknowledge him as he walked past.

Amusingly, Cody successfully annoys everyone else in the group before going back to the Mercedes lounge to make one last attempt at giving his idol a high-five.

Once more, the British person had no desire to pause for pleasant conversation with the YouTube celebrity, quickly passing by to leave Cody facing a failed challenge.
