Hamilton and Russell skip Singapore media duties due to medical reasons
Mercedes has announced that Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will not be making any statements to the media after the Singapore Grand Prix due to medical reasons.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell did not appear for media duties following the Singapore Grand Prix, and Mercedes has confirmed they will not be doing so due to medical reasons.
“Sadly, George and Lewis will not be available at the media pen this evening because they are tired after the race that took place this evening,” the team added.
Normally drivers provide their quotes after the race is over in the Media Pen, but as for George and Lewis, they will have to miss it while attempting to bounce back.
The race at the Marina Bay Circuit has always proven to be one of the most physically demanding for the drivers because of the hot weather in Singapore.
After the race this year, the race winner Lando Norris said he was feeling dizzy while standing in the parc ferme.
I want to wish Lewis a George a speedy recovery one.
