Formula 1 is back in America with the live broadcast of Sunday’s U.S. Grand Prix on ABC and ESPN+.

Fans at the location can view live episodes of SportsCenter broadcasted from Circuit of the Americas.

Updates from Austin featured on the morning show Good Morning America on ABC; Additional ESPN shows centered around the broadcast of the race.

“ESPN Texas Takeover” links F1 Race with Georgia-Texas College Football Game in Austin.

As the Formula 1 World Championship approaches its thrilling end to one of its most competitive seasons in recent years, it heads back to America this weekend for the Pirelli United States Grand Prix. The second out of three F1 races in the United States for this year will be broadcasted live on ABC and ESPN+ on Sunday, October 20th, from Circuit of the Americas (COTA) located in Austin, Texas.

Sunday Coverage

Coverage on Sunday starts at 1:30 p.m. Grand Prix Sunday will feature ET, and the race is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Besides the primary broadcast, ESPN+ and ESPN3 will also be live streaming a Spanish language version of the race. Mercedes-Benz will sponsor a commercial-free presentation of the race telecast.

ESPN will create a full coverage of the race broadcast by including programming and content on various platforms, such as having SportsCenter on-site for three live shows and updates in other editions. Good Morning America on ABC will feature material from Austin, and The Elle Duncan Show, ESPN’s video podcast, will air two episodes live from the event. The digital content will contain complete coverage on ESPN.com/F1, as well as exclusive live preview and post-race shows on race day, along with numerous podcasts.

Along with the race, ESPN networks will also broadcast live the Sprint qualifying and practice session on Friday, Oct. 18, as well as the Sprint race and qualifying on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Saturday activities will be available for streaming on ESPN+ as well as being broadcast on TV.

F1 enthusiasts can choose between two additional broadcasts on ESPN+ to watch alongside the race: the Driver Tracker Channel and the Onboard Cameras Channel. Both start broadcasting at 2:55 p.m.

The event contributes to the “ESPN Texas Takeover” during a major sports weekend in Austin, which features a college football game between No. 1 Texas and No. 5 Georgia, as well as ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot from the University of Texas and various fan activities connecting the two events.

ESPN will cover the U.S. Grand Prix across various platforms.
