Kimi Antonelli has snubbed his Mercedes predecessor Lewis Hamilton in a recent interview.
The future Formula 1 star is replacing the seven-time champion in the Mercedes hot seat for the 2025 season and beyond.
The 18-year-old seems willing to make his mark after he was given the chance to drive George Russell’s car in a practice session of the Italian GP earlier this year, which could not have gone as the promising young driver would have wanted.

The Italian racer was Lucky to get out of the wrecked car in Monza earlier this year but his morale must be very low now.
Nevertheless, Antonelli has displayed good results in the F2 championship of the current term, driving for Prema Racing, and occupying the sixth place now, and the Silver Arrows are expecting a lot from him in F1.As for childhood idol, like many would expect, Antonelli confessed he was an admirer of Ferrari, but forgetting Hamilton, he said he liked Sebastian Vettel.
Antonelli revealed: ‘I supported the Reds, but now it is obvious that I have an attitude to Mercedes.When I was a kid I used to support Ferrari and I particularly liked Sebastian Vettel. I should still have a cup of his at home.”
