Watch Keegan Bradley’s dramatic birdie to win the Travelers, breaking Tommy Fleetwood’s heart

Keegan Bradley, a local favorite and the captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup team, came to the 18th hole needing a birdie and some help and received both to win the Travelers Championship for the second time in three years on Sunday.

Chasing Tommy Fleetwood by a single shot on the 18th at TPC River Highlands, Bradley delivered a flawless tee shot, matched stride-for-stride by Fleetwood. Aiming for his first PGA Tour win, Fleetwood’s second shot stopped just short of the green, leaving him a lengthy 50-foot putt. Bradley then struck a near-perfect approach, landing just under six feet from the pin.

Fleetwood’s long putt fell seven feet short, and he couldn’t convert the par, settling for a bogey. Bradley, seizing the moment, sank his birdie putt to claim the win — a dramatic two-shot turnaround that sent the crowd into chants of “USA, USA, USA.”
