Anthony Kim announcement made ahead of 2025 LIV Golf League season

Former U.S. Ryder Cup hero Anthony Kim confirms his participation at International Series Qatar as he warms up for another crack at LIV Golf in 2025.

Anthony Kim is set to tee up alongside 17 other LIV Golf players in what will be the penultimate International Series event of the Asian Tour calendar in two weeks time.

Kim, now 39, has agreed to play in International Series Qatar at Doha Golf Club beginning from 27-30 November.

The one-time U.S Ryder Cup is likely going to be formally formally invited to come back and contest in the LIV Golf League in the next season 2025.

Golf Magic realizes that for the first time Kim will be associating with a team while the wildcards will be expelled from the breakaway tour.

Still, no one has tied the knot, at least not yet.

Tiger Kim was one of the last two entrants in LIV Golf last year together with Hudson Swafford.

However, Swafford did not get an invitation to play on LIV Golf next season either.

The International Series on the Asian Tour is backed by LIV Golf.

As a result, the winner of the season-long International Series rankings receives a golden ticket onto the LIV Golf League for 2025.

America’s John Catlin is leading the way right now, but Canada’s Richard T. Lee is going in hot pursuit.

There are just three events left to play on the International Series with events in Hong Kong (21-24 November), Qatar (27-30 November) and Saudi Arabia (4-7 December).

A large number of LIV Golf players are also expected to compete in the Saudi event next month.

Kim will be joined by a number of other LIV Golf stars in Qatar, including major champions Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen.

Another space will also open up for a new LIV Golf player at their Promotions Event next month.

LIV Golf has confirmed to GolfMagic that a full roster of new teams and players will be announced before the end of the year.

The first event of the 2025 LIV Golf League season takes place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 8 February.
