Lydia Ko Soothes Retirement Rumors With a Hopeful New Partner Weeks Before 2025’s LPGA Kickoff

One of the most important championships is The Open, which is considered being the oldest golf championship globally. Founded in 1860, it was first staged every year on Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland before it was relocated to rotate between several courses of the British links with the sea coast. HUGO BOSS has been a patron partner of The Open since 2020, but it has been involved with golf since 1985. I have assisted several golfers with their sponsorship arrangements which include Patrick Cantlay to Thomas Detry.
Moreover, Martin Kaymer itself opened their new brand after their support. After 50 years, the company split into two distinctive brands: HUGO and BOSS. The Boss introduced it golf collection for the first time and this came into the market early February 2023. As of now, they are only have two Korean ambassadors for the brand. Jang Yu Bin was their first golfer to ever join them. They first posted something with him on their account on the 14th of July, 2024.

And now, for the 2025 season, they announced Lydia Ko as their official brand ambassador. She has an exclusive apparel sponsorship contract with them from January 6, 2025. She shared a picture of herself with the signature lucky bag, and wrote, “Excited to join the @iamtom.kr family and rock their gear this year

Being the main athlete for BOSS takes her to the stratosphere. It’s a monumental deal for Ko who also signed a deal with ECCO Golf for footwear. They signed a partnership in 2017 and resigned the contract in 2021. Moreover, she said, “I’m delighted to be continuing my relationship with ECCO GOLF

Well, the 2025 season will indeed be a rather exciting one for her. She has not one, but two new sponsorships aligned for her this season. Everything looks promising for Lydia Ko.

Lydia Ko will be the new ambassador for Hilton Grand Vacation

Notably, Ko became recently the new Hilton Grand Vacation ambassador for the season 2025 as well. This Tournament of Champions on the LPGA Tour is sponsored by $3.9 billion. Lydia Ko at one stage had beaten Alexa Pano in the tournament last year two shots adrift at the Lake Nona Golf Course to capture the championship.

The HGV in December released a Business Wire press release, which reported that the Kiwi professional participated in several closed-door events such as private dinners, golf clinics, and meet and greet throughout the year.

This year is no different as I got to know the HGV team well and play in the tournament for several of years now so to speak. It is perhaps one of the most colourful and interesting events on the LPGA calendar and it makes me very happy to join the list of HGV brand ambassadors this year, Lydia said.

As such, Ko has been added to the HGVC list of its sponsors, which includes golfing icon Annika Sörenstam and LPGA tour event winner Nasa Hataoka.
