Phil Mickelson has confirmed his LIV Golf team, the Hy Flyers, has signed an apparel agreement with Primo.
Phil Mickelson has inked an apparel deal for his LIV Golf team after losing a bet to a YouTuber.
Mickelson confirmed on 20 January that Primo will be the official apparel sponsor of the HyFlyers.
Lefty and his teammates Brendan Steele, Cameron Tringale and Andy Ogletree will be wearing all of their product line for the 2025 campaign.
That includes joggers, traditional pants, quarter zips, vests and traditional polos.
LIV’s third full season begins on 6 February in Riyadh.
The partnership came about after Mickelson lost a match to YouTuber and Primo ambassador Grant Horvat last summer.
Mickelson needed to wear Primo joggers during the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon as his penalty.
After defeating Grant Horvat in a match Mickelson agreed to wear Primo joggers at the Open Championship.
This major change worked well for me. I began questioning my ability to wear trendy joggers but my experience with Primo products has made me a fan of their entire selection.
The HyFlyers team looks forward to wearing these clothes as they play throughout the season.
Cameron Smith and Ripper joined forces with Greyson Clothiers while Primo the Snake and The Mad Rasher committed to his new brand.
