LIV Golf superstar Joaquin Niemann stomps on his golf bag, and very nearly his caddie’s hand, after making bogey on the 18th to miss the cut by a shot at The Open.
A stroppy Joaquin Niemann stomped on his golf bag after making bogey on the 18th hole, which ultimately saw him miss the cut at the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush.
Niemann, 26, bogeyed three of the last six holes in the second round en route to a 3-over 74.
It saw the record six-time LIV Golf winner fall to 2-over par for the championship, and one shot outside of the cut mark.
Niemann has been in blistering form on the Saudi-bankrolled LIV Golf League this season with four wins at Adelaide, Singapore, Mexico and Virginia.
But the Chilean has been left somewhat frustrated in the majors.
Despite a respectable T8 at the PGA Championship in May, which marked his best ever finish in a major, Niemann finished T29 at The Masters and missed both of the cuts at the US Open and The Open.
