The action begins early in the morning wave, with the first groups heading out just before 9 a.m. local time. Among the opening tee times, Troy Merritt and Robert Streb face Harry Higgs and Jeremy Paul at 8:45 a.m., followed shortly by Brice Garnett and Lee Hodges taking on Eric Cole and Hank Lebioda at 8:56 a.m.

The morning continues with a steady rhythm of pairings, including Adam Svensson and Adam Hadwin against Vince Whaley and Greyson Sigg at 9:07 a.m., and Garrick Higgo with Matt Kuchar teeing off versus Erik van Rooyen and Christiaan Bezuidenhout at 9:18 a.m.

Not long after, William Mouw and Takumi Kanaya meet Matt McCarty and Mac Meissner at 9:29 a.m., while Adam Schenk and Tyler Duncan go head-to-head with Stephan Jaeger and Jackson Suber at 9:40 a.m.

Additional notable morning groups include Trey Mullinax and David Skinns against Scott Piercy and Taylor Montgomery at 9:51 a.m., as the early starters attempt to post a number before conditions shift later in the day.

Beyond the early wave, the featured groups provide some of the biggest storylines. Sahith Theegala and Aaron Rai are paired with Blades Brown and Luke Clanton at 9:29 a.m., while Keith Mitchell and Brandt Snedeker face Cam Davis and Geoff Ogilvy at 9:40 a.m.

The afternoon wave carries added intrigue, highlighted by defending champions Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin teeing off at 1:39 p.m. alongside Wyndham Clark and Taylor Moore. Just minutes later, Billy Horschel and Tom Hoge go up against Tony Finau and Max Greyserman at 1:50 p.m., ensuring a dramatic close to the day’s play.

Earlier in the day, another spotlight grouping—featuring the Fitzpatrick brothers alongside Brooks Koepka and Shane Lowry—heads out at 9:18 a.m., drawing significant attention as one of the marquee matchups of the round.

Friday’s foursomes format is widely regarded as the toughest test of the week, requiring players to alternate shots with a single ball, amplifying both pressure and the importance of teamwork.

By sunset in New Orleans, the leaderboard will take clearer shape, with only the top teams advancing to the weekend. In a tournament defined by partnership, Friday’s tee times set the stage for drama, momentum swings, and the kind of high-stakes golf that makes the Zurich Classic one of the PGA Tour’s most unique stops.
