Paige Spiranac hits back at critics ‘mad’ about her ‘conservative’ golf outfit
Paige Spiranac found it amusing that some people were “mad” about what she wore during a recent round of golf.
The 32-year-old golf influencer sported a form-fitting one-piece with an open back and shared several photos and videos of herself hitting drives at one of her favorite courses.
“People are so mad about this outfit,” Spiranac wrote, including a snapshot of her smirking in the camera and a crying laughing emoji. “The funny part is I really thought it was one of my more conservative looks lol.”
Spiranac also hit back at someone who called out her outfit — perhaps jokingly — and said it was a “double standard” for men and women.
“Who wears that to a golf course? When I did, I was asked to leave,” the person wrote on X, adding, “Sad double standard we have.”
Spiranac responded with, “It’s a driving range with $5 bucket of balls not Augusta National.”
It’s unclear where exactly Spiranac was playing, but she did that it was one of her “favorite places” to golf.
“I hit my very first golf ball on this range and all these years later it’s still one of my favorite places⛳️💚,” she wrote.
The former pro added a clip of her driving with the caption, “Crushed that drive.”
This wasn’t the first time Spiranac hit back at public comments about her golf outfits.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has stood up for her bold style choices, expressing pride in her body.
Earlier this month, Spiranac responded to a social media critic who sarcastically commented that it was “real classy” of her to flaunt her backside in workout shorts.
