Tom Brady’s romance with Irina Shayk ending explained as NFL legend suffers second blow.
The former New England Patriots superstar’s short-lived romance with Russian model Irina Shayk captured the imaginations of the public but it appears that the world-famous pair have parted ways.
The burgeoning relationship between Irina Shayk and NFL legend Tom Brady simply “fizzled out,” and the two appear to be amicable even now.
After almost four months of dating, the flimsy relationship between the retired New England Patriots legend and the Russian supermodel came to an end. The couple had been seen apart the week before, with Brady taking it easy in Miami and Shayk having fun in New York City.
The household names’ decision to end their brief romance has now been revealed to have had nothing dramatic to do with it, according to TMZ. The brief relationship was first spotted in July when the seven-time Super Bowl champion picked up his rumored girlfriend from the Hotel Bel-Air Hotel and then drove her to his Los Angeles residence.
The American sporting icon Brady broke up with former wife Gisele Bundchen in October 2022, with Shayk his first relationship since their split. The ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers star would next be spotted with his new love interest on date nights in both New York and London.
However, pictures of Shayk alongside her ex-partner Bradley Cooper on holiday in Italy would emerge in August, leading to speculation over her future with Brady. At the time, however, the NFL legend would deny that he was bothered by the pictures of the pair.
Following this, Brady and Shayk would last been seen together in mid-September, when the model stayed over at the Patriots hero’s Tribeca apartment during New York Fashion Week. However, this would ultimately be the last time the pair would spend time together, as per Page Six.
Speaking on his ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast previously, Brady explained how the ‘drama’ in his personal life has taught him a lot of lessons in recent times. He said: “We should all have self-awareness, it’s a hard trait to have. We’re in a culture where it’s hard to own up to things these days.
For someone like me, I’m in the public eye a lot. I always try to say the right thing. I don’t want to deal with any more drama in my life. I already have a lot of drama.”
After finally hanging up his cleats with the Buccaneers in February of this year, Brady has thrown himself quite significantly into his business interests. Taking a small stake in Birmingham City FC is one of the 46-year-old’sinvestmentssince his retirement.
This month, he and his teammates at the EFL Championship team were successful in hiring Wayne Rooney, a former England captain, as head coach. But to add insult to injury after his relationship with Shayk fell apart, the Blues lost their opening match against Middlesbrough.
