Updated results of the 2023 F1 United States GP after Hamilton and Leclerc disqualification
A few hours after the end of the United States GP, when many Dutch people were lying on one ear, things happened in Austin, Texas. It creates a new result for the US GP.
Following the race, routine checks revealed excessive wear on the car’s planks, and both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were eliminated from the USGP.
They will no longer be recorded as having finished second or sixth, and Lando Norris will move up to second as Carlos Sainz earns Ferrari’s third podium of the year.
In what has been a challenging season for the American driver, Logan Sargeant was also promoted to 10th place and earned his first World Championship point with the double DSQ.
Williams scored a double for the first time this season when teammate Alexander Albon finished ninth and also moved into the points.
