CONFIRMED: RORY MCILROY ANNOUNCES WHICH TGL TEAM HE WILL PLAY FOR
Rory McIlroy has confirmed he will play for Boston Common Golf in the TGL league alongside Tyrrell Hatton, Keegan Bradley and Adam Scott.
Rory McIlroy has confirmed he will be the team captain of Boston Common Golf in the tech-fused league he created with Tiger Woods.
The 34-year-old took to Instagram to make the announcement on 2 November. He also revealed his three TGL teammates.

McIlroy’s announcement coincides with the news that Jon Rahm has left TGL.
Rahm caused speculation to explode when all mention of the 2023 Masters champion was removed from the official website.
Hours later, it was confirmed that the two-time major champion would not be participating in TGL, fueling speculation that he could join LIV Golf.
McIlroy confirmed his teammates will be Ryder Cup teammate Tyrrell Hatton, 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott.
What is TGL?
TGL is managed by TMRW Sports, the technology-based sports company founded by Woods and McIlroy in August 2022.
It will feature six teams of four players, competing once in a tournament format fight.
Only three out of four players will participate in the same event.
Five teams have been announced so far, with names linked to the US cities of Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
The tournament has attracted a number of investments from billionaires and sports stars.
The Sofi Center at Palm Beach State College will host each event, which will last approximately two hours and be broadcast live in the United States with all players wearing microphones.
The hall can accommodate about 1,600 spectators.
