Verstappen gets emotional thank-you from farewell coach
Bradley Scanes is leaving F1. Max Verstappen’s trainer and physiotherapist bid farewell to his friend on Instagram, sending a particularly emotional message.
Bradley Scanes has worked closely with Verstappen over the past four years. The Dutchman found in Scanes the replacement for Jake Alikar. With Scanes, Verstappen experienced a particular highlights, which he briefly mentions in his own Instagram post: 4 years, 368 flights. Three world championships and one great friend.
New trainer for Verstappen
“Iām going to miss you mate. We pushed. We had fun. We won. We accepted nothing less. Maybe I added a few percent here and there but you keep doing you my friend, this is just part of your magical story. Thank you for being part of mine.”
Scanes is leaving Verstappen for an adventure outside Formula 1. The Dutchman has already found a new trainer, though. Carlos Sainz’s trainer, Rupert Manwaring will start working with the Dutchman in 2024.
