Lewis Hamilton used to brag about being invited to a special meal by American rapper P Diddy during his early F1 career.
This happened in 2007, Hamilton’s first Formula One season. Diddy is being held in jail until his charges are being heard.

Speaking during the British GP in 2007, the young Hamilton shared a story of how Diddy contacted him for the first time and invited him to a special dinner party. During the phone call, Hamilton was playing golf near McLaren’s Woking headquarters.
Hamilton went on to describe how the American rapper and his other guests were waiting for him when he arrived, and he also gushed about Diddy sitting next to him instead of any other well-known guest.
Hamilton said, “I got a call to say that P Diddy had invited me to a special dinner. When I got there they were waiting for me and I sat down next to P Diddy. Out of all his guests, I was sitting next to him.” Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty, is currently being charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

As some fan accounts on X (previously Twitter) dug deeper into the Mercedes driver’s relationship with Diddy, they discovered a 2018 tweet from the seven-time world champion with an image of him and Diddy wearing all-white.
A fan got a screenshot, which went viral on social media lately in the wake of Diddy’s legal action, even though Lewis Hamilton had removed the post.
The MET Gala in 2018 had the theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” and although Diddy was well-known for throwing all-white parties in which he and other attendees dressed in white, this specific photo was taken during the event.
