Less than an hour later, the account tweeted that Woods’ aircraft had descended into Jackson, Mississippi, which just so happened to be the location of the Sanderson Farms Championship, the PGA Tour event that Kevin Yu had won previous week.
The account then tweeted less than an hour later that Woods’ airplane had made its descent towards Jackson, Mississippi, which coincidentally was the site of last week’s Sanderson Farms Championship won by Kevin Yu on the PGA Tour.
It’s still unclear why Woods’ jet was flying directly to Jackson.
Authorities are referring to Hurricane Milton as the “storm of the century” since its sustained winds are still reaching 150 mph (241 km/h).

The governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, stated that “every location on Florida’s west coast could get significant storm surge.”
600,000 people in Pasco County, Florida, were forewarned by an official that “this is your last chance to take shelter.”
